Elin Andersson

Elin is a freelance Makeup Artist with over 10 years of experience, and now based out of Los Angeles, CA. 

She was born and raised in Sweden, where she first caught interest for makeup at a very young age. She went to makeup school in Stockholm (2004), at Mariart School of makeup and Hair.  A few years later, in 2007 she made the move to Florida where she mainly worked in the beauty industry, working on photo shoots and weddings. 

In 2014 she decided to further educate herself, as she's always had a strong interest for character makeup.  She made her move across the country and attended the Professional makeup artist program at Cinema Makeup School, Los Angeles.

At Cinema she got to learn fx makeup and the necessary techniques to work on set in the film and TV industry. She also got excepted to the schools honors program, The Leonard Engelman Fellowship where she got to learn and work alongside Leonard himself. He is the the schools director of education and also the Vice President of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences.  

Elin is available for TV, film, print and events.
